Things have changed in Aspen Snowmass Real Estate. Covid is here and will change the way we live and vacation until this is over. It may impact our values and the way we intend to live in the future. Right now people have some reservations to travel on airplanes and far distances. Most people are opting for staycations or nearby road trips. Some are more daring and willing to take a longer road trip in the US or even fly in the US.

We are seeing many second homeowners come to Aspen Snowmass to escape the big city or get away to mountains after being forced to shelter in place. Not seeing to many tourists yet but things are changing with the opening of Aspen and Snowmass this summer. Group events have been cancelled but rentals, hotels and restaurants are open or opening.

I think we will see a migration of big city residents wanting to get away from crowds and want to come to the mountains. First maybe for a month and then months and then maybe as a life change or getaway. So I think we will see some real estate transactions for those lucky people that can buy something and enjoy Aspen Snowmass whenever they want into the future. Life is too short after all not to spend time in Aspen Snowmass. That is why I live here with my family and raise my kids here.
